A short-term solution to provide warehousing for storage and commissioning of specialized research equipment. For this 5,000 sq ft facility a prefabricated tensile structure was chosen as the preferred structure option. The building was designed to allow for heavy equipment loading with a thickened structural slab. An upsized electrical system and a controllable HVAC system were provided to allow for equipment to be commissioned within this facility.
